Google Champion Island Games  By Paloma Lage - Paily  On July 23 2021, Google posted the ‘Google Doodle’  called ‘Doodle Champion Island Games’ which is a 7-part course of games which have been recently added or have been in the Olympics for a while. The seven games are - Rock Climbing, Archery, Skateboarding, Rugby, Synchronised Swimming, Ping Pong and Marathon Running -  all of which have previous winners (all NPC’s).  The previous winners (after you beat them) are called - Tanuki (Skateboarding), Princess Otohime (Synchronised Swimming), Fukuro (Climbing), Tengu (Table Tennis), Yoichi (Archery), The Oni (Rugby) and The Kijimuna (Marathon Running).  Currently, the fastest person to speedrun the Google Doodle (Any% and with Warps), is from Japan and has done it in a bit over 8 minutes (when this article was written)! Overall, this is an incredible game with great animations in between, great pixel art and nice music! It has become very popular and is a fun way to compete in a (mini) o
